Study Overview
We use Miltenyi Biotec’s gentleMACS Octo Dissociator with Heaters for tissue dissociation and homogenization. This allows us to simultaneously dissociate and homogenize up to eight tissue samples, which is difficult to do at the same time. Furthermore, this model also performs automated enzyme treatment. By using programs and dedicated tubes optimized for each tissue, the entire process can be performed automatically and aseptically. This minimizes variations due to manual techniques and processing time, allowing us to obtain high-quality cell suspensions and homogenates with high reproducibility.
We prepare cell suspensions and homogenates from tissue samples we receive, which can be used for various studies, such as tissue cell culture, flow cytometry analysis (tissue lymphocyte subset analysis, tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) analysis, etc.), gene expression analysis, Simple Western analysis, and ELISA.
