We have commenced new contract testing related to the suppression of male pattern hair loss (Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA)).
AGA is commonly seen in adult men and is primarily associated with increased levels of active male hormones. It is estimated that approximately one in three Japanese men over the age of 20 has AGA, and with the incidence rate showing an upward trend in recent years, the development of AGA treatments is receiving significant attention.
We support the analysis of test substances’ AGA-inhibiting effects by performing ELISA measurements of hair loss factors induced by active male hormones using hair follicle dermal papilla cells.
