Custom-made study using cell sorting

Study Overview

Our company has introduced the CytoFLEX SRT cell sorter manufactured by Beckman Coulter. A cell sorter is a type of flow cytometer that can sort cell populations with specific characteristics for analysis or reculturing.

We sort rare cell populations present in blood and tissue samples, and perform various cell tests using the sorted cells.

We have also introduced an analyzer-type flow cytometer CytoFLEX S. It is compatible with the CytoELEX SRT, and allows us to sort target cell populations based on data analyzed by the CytoFLEX S.

Typical study examples

Gene Introduction and Cell Sorting
When genes are introduced into cells, they are separated into those that have been introduced with the gene and those that have not. Using a cell sorter, simultaneous introduction of fluorescent proteins or other molecules makes it possible to isolate only the cells that have been introduced with the gene. This enables highly accurate study.

Single Cell Sorting
Single cells can also be isolated. Information about the characteristics of these cells can be obtained while simultaneously isolating them.

Blood, Tissue, and Cancer Tissue
Blood, tissue, and cancer tissue contain a variety of cells. From these, it is possible to isolate only the cells of interest. These isolated cells can be used for a variety of studies.

*Studies will be mainly conducted by those with doctoral degrees.
