Mitochondrial activation study (evaluation of anti-obesity effects, etc.)

Study Overview

Exercise-induced fat burning occurs primarily in skeletal muscle cells and brown fat cells. These cells are rich in mitochondria, which metabolize sugars and fats, converting them into energy and heat. Therefore, activating mitochondrial function in skeletal muscle cells and brown fat cells promotes fat burning.

In this study, we will measure mitochondrial activity and mitochondrial quantity within cells to verify the mitochondrial activation effects of the test substance.

If you would like to evaluate mitochondrial metabolic function more closely, please consider metabolic analysis using an extracellular flux analyzer.
