Study Overview
This assay evaluates the affinity (cell adhesion or differentiation) of cells to a certain cellular substrate, whether the substrate is developed or specially processed. The main goal of this assay is to characterize materials that are expected to be used in medical and cell engineering fields. By understanding the affinity of cells to substrates, these material can be checked for biocompatibility. We leverage our cell testing knowledge to provide feedback on the results from the perspective of a substrate user. This feedback is invaluable for customers who are looking to develop substrates.

Cells with proven track record
- Human normal fibroblasts (derived from skin or periodontal ligament)
- V79 cells, L-929 cells
- Human hepatoma cells (HepG2)
- Primary cultured hepatocytes
- Primary cultured osteoblasts
- iPS cells
- Human mesenchymal stem cells
*In addition to the above, we can also use cells tailored to your research needs.
Study example
Evaluation of fibroblast adhesion on coated substrates (measurement of viable cell count)
