Study Overview

SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, enters human cells by attaching to a protein called ACE2 on the cell surface. The virus uses a protein on its outer surface, called the spike protein, to attach to the cells.
In this study, we will test whether the sample substance can help prevent coronavirus infection by using a safe model virus with the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and cells that have ACE2. We can also test its effects against different virus types, including variants such as Omicron.
