Study Overview
The intestinal tract is a critical component of the body’s immune system. Various stressors can trigger an excessive immune response, leading to intestinal inflammation. This study investigates the potential for specific dietary components to modulate this inflammatory response and alleviate symptoms. Caco2 cells are one such intestinal epithelial cell line used to investigate the properties of anti-inflammatory substances in the intestine.
