Tyrosinase activity inhibition study (skin whitening effect evaluation)

Study Overview

Tyrosinase is a key metabolic enzyme in melanin pigment synthesis, and its activity is often used as an indicator of skin whitening effects.

This study will examine the tyrosinase activity inhibitory effect of test substances with the aim of verifying the effectiveness of melanin synthesis inhibitors and searching for new substances. The amount of dopachrome produced by tyrosinase will be measured using L-DOPA as a substrate.
