Study Overview
So-called “senescent cells,” which accumulate with aging and external stress, have various adverse effects in the body. From the perspectives of health and anti-aging, senolytic drugs, which selectively remove these senescent cells, are attracting attention.

Study example
In this study, we use young cells with a low number of cell divisions and senescent cells with a long period of cell division to evaluate drugs that selectively damage senescent cells. In addition to the WST-8 method, which is commonly used to evaluate cell viability, we can also obtain visually understandable data using fluorescent imaging analysis. We can also treat your desired cell line with drugs to give it senescent cell-like properties before study.
