Cartilage function improvement study using chondrocytes

Study Overview

It is known that a decrease in the secretion of lubricating components such as hyaluronic acid and acid mucopolysaccharides in chondrocytes can lead to joint diseases such as arthritis. Therefore, promoting the secretion of lubricating components in chondrocytes could lead to the treatment and prevention of joint diseases.

This study will verify the effect of test substances on promoting the production of hyaluronic acid and acid mucopolysaccharides using chondrocytes, with the aim of evaluating and identifying new substances that can improve cartilage function.
